Bicycle, Walk across the Haspengouw countrysite.

Bicycling

Aan het Singelhof is situated at the famous cycle junction network between junctions 168 and 169, and also at the Flandersroute and the Hillsroute.

This system allows you to sketch your own cycle routes using the cycle route planner.

We'll gladly assist you in planning appropiate routes.

You can rent our ten electrical bikes. A bike-GPS, a bikeroute map, or a mobile phone holder are also provided.

We already developped 4 looping routes for you:

  • Eastloop: 169-161-163-159-537-536-158-160-164-167-168-169: 32km
    Abridgement to 25km: from 159 to 158
    Abridgement to 17km: from 163 to 164
  • Southloop: 134-185-186-359-183-182-184-166-167-168: 41km
    Viewpoint Haspengouw: on top of the Waterbassin of Velm (185-186), panoramas stretch endlessly in all directions
    At 183 one can see in clear weather as far as the slag heap of Liege
  • Northloop: 171-149-148-121-145-144-146-173-180-171: 38km
    Abridgement to 25km: from 149 to 173
  • Westloop: 168-134-185-186-358-187-188-32-191-545-190-147-189-171-170-169-168: 48km
    This loops around Sint-Truiden. You'll find a description of the route here.
    Along the way you can catch your breath in brewery De Bink (185-186), brewery Wilderen (188-32) (reserve a guided tour), and Ordingen Castle (189-171).

    Abridgement -8km: Ordingen Castle - Ordingen-Dorp - Vliegveldlaan - Brustem-Dorp - Singelstraat
